hi people, I've just recalled seeing some of my old crappy industries in the new cargo vectors for the patch, I made this new factories, just in case somebody wants them for TTD.

They're rendered, so scale is not a concern really. Pallette is. Have you got it around?

Those look rather Simutransy to me. Open usually has much bigger industries.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

colouring might be an issue. Large doesn't exist for a 3d image anyway, scale is a click away.
Or you're talking about the large 32bit cool graphic ottd version. Then of course some things need to be tweaked.

Just wanted to see if somebody in need of industry felt like converting them, discovered they matched, and this could be a joint effort.

OTOH, I found some of my crappy-old buildings in one of George's projects, and wanted to redeem myself.

indeed nice, but grass and (especially) trees somehow does not match them :P

Well, about trees and grass, it's still work in progress after all, those trees are (obviously) inheritance from pak96 hand drawn.

Abou textures what can I say, since tiles are generated automatically given the lightmap, I've been doing a lot of texture testing lately.

btw, I do not knwo if it is worth to try but black outlines (in windows. whole buildings and so other parts of buildings) are for me a bit too black.
maybe possibility to blend outlines make them less black ?

Hmm, don't know, they're meant to be that way. Could go again trough some models and correct them if I find some time.

Yes, very nice, to bad the light conditions don't fit to TTD...
TTDPatch dev in retirement ... Search a grf, try Grf Crawler 0.9 - now with even faster details view and new features...

Thanks for the feedback.

About light conditions, too much contrast, right? (The mirroring part is not worth mentioning)

Perhaps when there's something a bit bigger I could try and find TTD lighting standards, or share the .blend files for that matter (though I'm not very keen on it). Anyways, IIRC coding is not straightforward, so better wait until I'ev finished the whole picture. (At least XIXth onwards, since I feel there's no need of XVII and XVIIth stuff in TTD, yet!)

however replacing all buildings would give us nice effect - bad thing is that then we prbably need also to redraw vehicles to match this industry style

I was a bit unconvinced about the effect too. If you've tested some of the industries by george, you would have felt the same.

Well, we can actually render the vehicles too. Fast and clean. Oh, not in this case since they're resized stuff and using simutrans player colour blues, also the windows would be better if made more white.

Not TTD, but this can revolutionize TTDP! These drawings are very, very good and i wouldn't mind having a whole set, replacing all the original TTD graphics with new graphics like these.

Would it be worth a challenge?
