A slip up with the Polish Foreign minister ended up creating a Non-existant country that parts of the internet are joking about.

I'm currently trying to find a world in Minecraft to build my own version of "San Escobar" with polish influence :)

Good news for British TV fanatics of the 90s, The Crystal Maze is returning for a full series with Richard Ayoade as the host!

The Independent.

All of my dreams have been fulfilled.

Ayoade is excellent and I have revealed my immense love for CM before, but I'm not sure the two work together...

I just can't imagine Ayoade racing round the Maze at full pelt.

Hopefully he'll manage to get super energetic. At first I hated the idea of Dara Ó Briain doing Robot Wars, but I came to love him in that role. I'm hoping it'll be the same with Ayoade on Crystal Maze. I currently dislike the idea of him doing it, but hopefully he'll prove me wrong.

As long as the obnoxious harmonica doesn't return, i'm all good. I also do hope they keep the references to previous hosts they had from the Stand Up To Cancer special. So far we know there is going to be 20 episodes in the season, and there will be some celebrity ones, again for Stand Up To Cancer. Hopefully people will be as complimentary of it as they were the original one off special last year, and it'll live on for many years.

I do hope the spend a bit extra doing up the maze for the new series though, the special one was almost obviously what it is actually is, a maze not built for TV or designed for filming, due to the vary glaring roofing tiles and even a fire alarm smash panel showing up. The special was film in the Crystal Maze Experience, something open to the public to bring down teams and have a go at themselves. Not sure if they're going to rebuild the maze from scratch for the TV show, or keep using that rather small one.

At the time of the original Crystal Maze, it was the largest custom-built set in Europe. unfortunately i doubt funding will ever allow that o happen again!

Apparently they will use a new build which is being designed for the Manchester experience, which will be in a bigger premises. You're right about the roof tiles!

I was rather disappointed that the Dome was much more metal than previous, but the vast, bespoke glass panes were much of the cost!

(I've just checked again and apparently they aren't using the Manchester venue now, and are building a new set in Bristol instead! Exciting.

Glad someone else noticed it, I was beginning to think i was just a bit anal. For me it least, it was to the point of a little distracting, with how the illusion was lost as soon as the camera panned out a little much.

In Amsterdam, a group of drug dealers were arrested after they gave their clients business cards. The police arrested the drug dealers and visited the address on the business cards where they found more drug related material.

the second one.

I am all for satire ('the Onion', 'Mad Magazine', etc.)
But when 'they' make stuff up, Photoshop and quote out of context that stinks. All this hate/fake/click-bait news is getting out of control.

I've got a few days of typing place names such as Machynlleth, Pwhelli and Aberystwyth ahead of me, that's going to be fun! I will learn to spell them off the top of my head by the end of this week

I don't know how to best describe what I've just found on wikipedia.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_Int ... Task_Force

"Ok so we're planning on storing a crapton of radioactive waste for millennia, we need a way to communicate where it is and why it's bad to our ancestors. Warning signs ain't gonna cut it."

"Religions survive thousands of years... Let's create a nuclear waste religion!"

"Nah, people would get oppressed by the Church of Nuclear Waste and it would cause the dawn of the Second Dark Ages. But hear me out - cats will always be popular pets, right? So we genetically modify cats to be change colors when exposed to nuclear radiation. People will get scared their cat turned red and run."

Don't think there's much danger to them, successors however...

And that's not even the worst part of the plan!
