Re: I've been playing with LEGO again...
I've been building on the children's table... because they told me to. Honest. Not that it took much encouragement.... So - some photos:
This is it - its on an Ikea table measuring 550mm x 550mm. It's a street with car showroom and take away food 'chip shop'. There is also a little kiosk and an alley to the rear of the showroom.
An interior shot of the Kiosk, it needs some more 'life' and design to it, really. I've put a little magazine rack in but... well, it will be next on the list of things to consider.
Here we have the two guys who do deliveries and breakdown cover for the show room, next to the truck. The truck is stock standard at the moment but it could all change in the future.
This is the showroom - the office is separate from the rest of the showroom - there is a curved desk for the sales guy though with his PC and mug of tea... not sure where he is, probably on a test drive somewhere!
Ahh - there he is in the front of this shot of the street.
The on-street chip shop, as it were. Back to the showroom, because this is the order in which they uploaded...
Now, to the chippy...
Next, some over-head shots of the chip shop and car show room with the sales office.
Notice how the office has had a little refit to meet the demands of other people... I'll sort some more internal shots out in the next few days. I'm also planning on re-fitting the kiosk as well.
The chip shop takeaway has had the front re-fitted to meet the styles etc:
And a little integration inside, too:
There have been some comments about a lack of pizza oven - we'll see what comes up over the next few days, too.
Next: SUV
We've got several sports cars on this table but we also have a home-grown SUV
The reason for the opening rear end was that the children liked the suitcases but didn't have an easy way to load them into a vehicle.
I'll post more in the next few days as I adjust the kiosk and showroom to meet the needs of the little street. Comments and thoughts welcome.

My latest build - an iconic Swedish railcar (but unfortunately the wrong colors - my Lego collection does not contain the righ parts in orange - see my sig for the real colors). Sorry for the UnSteadyCam(tm), phone in one hand, remote control in the other...
Re: I've been playing with LEGO again...
Well, we've been at it again - building trains with Lego, that is.

I'm not into lego, but there's some impressive stuff, which I always missed in railroad games.

Well, another year, another exhibition - this year our AFOL group (swebrick) had the annual meet at the Swedish Air Force museum in Linköping (Sweden). 13200 visitors in two days!
