Multiplayer companies merge

Hello, Ive been playing OTTD with my friend over ethernet.
We have two companies. But now, we want to merge them into one and play together.

Is there some way how to do that?

Yes and no. You can only overtak bancrupt companies. Thus you can take over one company by the other, if you try to bancrupt your one company: transfer all money to the other, stop all vehicles and wait a year, then it will (hopefully) get bancrupted and you'll get an offer to buy it.
