It would be possible to modify the game so that different types of ship docks can be created in Road Stops & Waypoints style?

Allowing moders to create newgrf with different styles docks? cargo... passengers... etc...

Peter has a patch for that.

(Making a joke -- I've heard it exists but requires lots more work and development time.)
