The easiest way to do this is when you create your post, drag the file name of your image from your hard drive and drop it into your post after which you should click on the "attachment" tab at the bottom of your post to make sure you see your file listed there.
If you click the Preview tab, you should see your post with the image and a link at the bottom.
If no image, You might need to click on that link to view your image on the forum's server.
Right click on that image and click on "Copy image link", then return to your edit post window and paste the forum link between img tags.
