Uneven distribution of towns

Is there any way to generate maps with an uneven distribution of its towns? That is, instead of cities being evenly placed across the map, "clusters" of cities would appear - sort of like metropolitan areas, with adjacent suburbs. I've tried adjusting the number of cities and the variety distribution, but to no avail. Is it possible? :)

Can't you just generate a random map in the scenario editor with no cities/towns and then place the cities/towns where you want them ??

Kind regards

Yeah, I've tried that way but it can be quite time-consuming if you want to play a large map, so therefore I was looking for an easier, quicker way, if there is one. :)

That's true. It'll take a long time to do manually - And you need to make sure ALL difficulty settings are just right before saving the scenario..

I learned that the HARD way.. :?

Kind regards

It might be possible to influence world generation with a NoGo script. Can't remember for sure.

AFAIK you can't found towns with a NOGO script.. At least I did not find the functionality for it
