Just had a read through it - that's really useful actually! I never did end up building realistic junctions in OTTD, and this would help.

Coincidentally, I'm just about to go and draw up in Adobe Illustrator the track diagram for the throat of Blackfriars Junction, for a piece of coursework. The key thing is that there's absolutely no connection between the London Bridge tracks and the bay terminus platforms, since they were designed pretty exclusively for the Sutton Loop services (which have since been safeguarded to run through the core!).

Really good piece of work this. I like to build as realistically as I can but usually end up limited for space and can't space my junctions and approach roads enough. I love the grand scale you are working on here!

That whole debacle still makes me angry.

Really good guide Dark. I have 2 issues about it (minor): station measurement which is 8x?
The other issue is power: an ac line and a dc separately from the same terminus station?

Keep them coming and please take this into account

I look forward to see you producing an equivalent one here.

I look forward to seeing other rl junctions being designed for OTTD/TTDP

I am thinking of doing Worting junction and Basingstoke station for a future game

The Station its self is 8x8 on six of the platforms and 8x7 on two of them.

The only power operating from this station is AC , but you do find Dual AC and DC lines operating in places.

I hope this answer your question dude

Thank you, i take it the 6 8 length platforms are to the east?

Sorry to bother you but I have a question: what do you intend to do regarding the 8 lines to the west of the junction which you posted in pic and in your guide?

I hope to see more guides in the future

Those lines diverge not long after still working on that area, will throw up some shots when I can I'm just really busy with work at the moment.

To answer your other question yes they are to the east.

Hi Darkuk,

im a newb but ive been playing ottd for ages now, and been scouting out new grfs, noticed a few i like the look of from your posts.

I have been searching all the links and posts on here today as ive seen a reference to the following in several posts,

- project generic
- track planner

could you point me in the right direction please? sorry if hassle.

 great work on those stations, must take ages to prevent jams. I usually add signals in front of station but you say this isnt needed? do you have an update on your word document? i.e. handling non terminus

thanks

ande

Project Generic Stations: Aegir's webserver went down, but from what I heard he still has the files. Post in this topic and he may send those to you or re-post them. Actually, I'll make a request myself. :D

Sorry for the delay getting back to you and Welcome to the forums :D . I can see your questions have already been answered, I don't really get time to play as much these days but I'll try and get a Main line station guide done over the weekend, I will also try and post some shots later on tonight.

Hope everyone is well
