(Providing WAS has SnowJet) Of course that's fine So that'll be:
(Plane) Stansted Airport > Sion Airport
(PostBus) Sion Airport > Sion SBB
(SBB Train) Sion SBB > Brig SBB
(FOB Train) Brig FOB > Andermatt FOB
(FOB Train) Andermatt FOB > Goschenen SBB
(SBB Train) Goschenen SBB > Lucerne SBB
(Vbl Bus) Lucerne SBB > Hotel
(Plane) Stansted Airport > Sion Airport
(PostBus) Sion Airport > Sion SBB
(SBB Train) Sion SBB > Brig SBB
(FOB Train) Brig FOB > Andermatt FOB
(FOB Train) Andermatt FOB > Goschenen SBB
(SBB Train) Goschenen SBB > Lucerne SBB
(Vbl Bus) Lucerne SBB > Hotel

Just take the Royal Mail 737-300F because that is owned by Titan (which runs snowjet). I will just go box myself up..

Well, I will of course be taking the Eurostar from London and travelling overland, none of this flying nonsense.
The quickest option is to go to Paris and then get the Paris Est-Basel TGV, but I think I might actually head to Cologne, stop the night, and then take the scenic route down the Rhine Gorge.
Either way, I'll be arriving in Basel SBB and hopping on a Lucerne train with my trusty Swiss Pass...
Can I recommend the Art Deco Hotel Montana, by the way?

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Go to Köln and take the night train to Milan there. Or get on the first ICE of the day from Amsterdam or Utrecht to, I believe Düsseldorf and change train there to the ICE to Basel or the IC to Milan. Be careful though, if you take the train to Milan you might be seated in front of a #*$&@ child that will manage to cry the whole 8 hour drive to Basel... Believe me, you don't want that. In the end you are ready to commit child murder. The ICE has a very very luxurious accommodation, I don't believe I've ever been in a better 2nd class coach in my life. (if I don't count the couches from around the 30sh of course)
Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Sorry, the Cologne-Milan sleeper's gone.
But you can do it in a (long) day, change at Utrecht for the 0829 ICE to Basel and you'll be in Lucerne by about 4pm.

Lol, this one is easy! I'd take the tram to Zurich HB, then take the IR 23xx direct into Lucerno!

Thanks John.
I have finally got back around to doing some of the admin around this meet, so I shall be verifying routes soon.

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Ok, so I have had to put a final deadline for meet members for... Saturday 18th September, 22:00. I have also drawn up this provisional map for the existing invitees.
Black = Biohazard (Driving from Den Haag)
Red = EXTspotter (Flying to Sion)
Light Blue = Planefun (train from Milan)
White = brickie (train from Koln)
Yellow = Me (Flying to Basel Airport)
Purple = Comm Cody (Flying to Zurich)
I am hoping that myself and brickie, and EXT and planefun can prove to be good enough friends for our video's to merge once our routes meet up.

For the first time ever in-game, it is possible to get a train from Bern to Milano ! A celebratory BLS-hauled train completed the route earlier today. Maps attached.
