Break up's

I'm quite addicted to TTD (Open TTD) and it is causing our relationship to suffer!

Does any one else have this Brillant game cause problems, or are you too busy shagging or playing? :D

I see your girl just registered on the forums.

Don't leave her to stew angrily while you play OTTD. I can think of a million other things I'd want to do if my girlfriend and my laptop were in the same room.

Using the internet is the first one.

Still...

In all seriousness, it's a game - and if it's threatening your relationship then you're a silly, silly man.

Laptop?

If the computer makes your social reputation to suffer, then you might see a psychiatrist, it just because you might be the victim of computer addiction. Wich isn't good as you might already figured out.

If you don't think this is the case, then a good talk with your partner and/or contacts and/or friends might be a good sollution to talk the problem over without it being a serious issue. :)

Good luck with it. :)

Well can you stop improving the game then please?! I heard for the first time yesteday about the 32 BPP mods in the pipeline! Cant' wait.

To be serious though i dont have a problem it's just i get distrated on MSN when a station needs more services or if the station is too short etc etc.

tonight i converted to Maglev and it broke the Path finding :< so i had to build special tracks etc etc so that the trains could find the stations, so i ignored MSN for a while and Jackie felt ignored.

So it seems....

There is a thing called moderation. If you are turning into someone that spends all day playing a game and ignore someone as important as your girlfriend you obviously have issues.... I recommend taking a break from it for a bit.

Do not turn this on me, my excuse for playing it all day and spending the rest of the day sleeping and on these forums on the fact that I can't walk right at the moment (but that's another story).

This girl if I'm right.
Hmmm talking to two Daves... Dave in stereo!

Anyway, I somewhat hope she responds in this thread. Have a good talk (Normally I would say, don't bring a forum into this, but maybe it's good to see some other views from fellow addicted TT gamers. (And how they manage to distract themselves. :P ))

Jackie is waiting for E-Mail activation.

Always hate that wait when itching to say something!

(of course that means sometimes i calm down before saying it)

Internet is fun.
My girlfriend is fun AND important, tho.

What an amusing thread.

But seriously, if you're putting a game before your friends, let alone your girlfriend, you are just asking for trouble.

So, you have four options;

Keep playing all the time.
Play less.
Don't play at all.
Get her to play.

i have a tough time dividing my life in "life" and "girlfriend". still, she likes games as well, so i'm not complaining.
