I hope you're kidding, threads of a month old are really not that old.

You'd have a fit if you knew earlier this week someone dug up a topic that was over 4 years old.

May I suggest some possible futuristic vehicles for a future set, instead of the usual industries on which we'll never get an agreement? http://www.darkroastedblend.com/2008/05 ... olani.html

Altho the original idea was mine, i'm surprised no one has just stood up and taken the reins. [sigh] The world is devoid of leaders.

No one, even myself, is willing to handcuff anyone else in the setup of this possible mod. If you have ideas or know-how, just do it. I know the whole concept is a good idea. The baby just needs someone to nurture it into maturity.

I wish i had to time to learn the softcoding necessary. However, at the present, i'm solving problems left over from other threads in my own special way. But the inspiration has been resurrected it seems, so maybe the discussion should start again. I still doodle with OTTD, as it is still very entertaining, especially since i've discovered ECS Vectors, and the devs keep refining in their excellent way.

Those vehicles on that external link, definitely look futuristic, but MAY be too stylized for the vision of this mod. Maybe. The atmosphere of extraterranean transport is almost all industrial -- clunky, dirty, and hefty. So those vehicles look TOO good. Perhaps. :?
