The First Mars Scenario was interesting but needed dramatic graphical improvements to set the "enviroment". Well, kiddies it has arrived!!!

I have some massive improvements:
First I made the Mars Terrain with that great Red Rock as a selectable terrain type. It also includes the side rock for cliffs as well. This can be used via the editor to create your own scenarios.
The 21 Century Modis included. This is the group that adds NukeFuel, Maglev trains, Spaceports academies and more!
The topography is made from actual Martian topography in the Southeast Loire Valley (website) Map MTM-15/337. And converted to Locomotion's engine via Ampz Magen tool.
Industries are fairly far apart so you will want to use those new high speed trains to move stuff around quickly. Build up those colonies to large starports soon to get the goods sold. Obtain a performance index of 90% in 60 years to win!
The scenario is rated challenging. Materials are very far apart and scarce. The extreme changes in elevation of the craters should provide a very interesting challenge. Money is tight. And you can't build Aircraft(until I get some graphics to replace the concorde with a space shuttle). Good Luck!

HOW TO USE: download the zip file below. This contains the scenario and my Mars Terrain Mod but no 21st Century Mod included (you have to go find that here). If you don't go get the 21st Century mod this scenario will not work.
To use quickly: unzip the winzip file to your locomotion directory (default:"C:\Program Files\Atari\Locomotion") the paths should be set up automatically.
Enjoy and post me some screenies!!!

Except that it doesn't work for people that don't have MGTrain5 (and probably also MGTrain6)
Edit: it also seems to need BRDEARTH, CARGOHP1, CARGOHP2 and MGCARGOH. (last three are from my Cargo Challenge)
You might want to remove those so people that don't have them can play this scenario.

Thanks for the input. I'll remove them. I'm gonna have problems moving forward because I've got so many mods installed I can't keep track of what is what!Rens2Sea wrote:Very nice!

The first download has been updated. Someone please playtest and let me know the results.

BEFORE I INSTALL THIS
I WILL NEED
i want a step by step inscutciotns because my loco cd has cracked
and im using a crack to run it
i have a backup of loco but iim not 100% sure it works
a question
will this effect any other maps
yes i know this project is 5 years old
i just need someone who has this installed
and there loco works with no f*** ups

Calm down, you need to think before posting, I too am using a crack, this works fine for me. Cool it.
