Not too shabby.... ;)

But you may want to add the stuff in the parentheses as well, so those of us non trainbuffs can more easily distinguish between the TSO and the BSO versions.

When you're building them, it's fairly obvious. The BSO has mail capacity, and the TSO doesn't.

I didn't give the designations because what does "BSO" mean to a non-trainbuff, anyway?

v2 coming probably later today, with some of the browwwwwn pallette glitches cleaned up.

Great Job.
You have made real good mk2 carrieges, they seem more realistic than the old one.

Do they run backwards when they reach a terminus? If so, I'll be downloading them :)

All we need now is a Mk.3 set to go with this.

I was suggesting the designations more for easier 'spot-identification' of the carriages. For example, looking at your screenie, I really can't tell which is the TSO and which is the BSO.

I wonder if you would want to do American Stainless Steel Mail and Passenger Carriages..American Climate really needs something better than it has now..

Pikka, couldn't you do your Turbotrain? Amtrack style? That would inject the US theatre with a MU thing.

Wonderful Pikka, I love them! The only little niggle I've noticed, is the BSO is facing the wrong way when I put it on.

i.e. My consist goes: Class 37 - TSO - TSO - BSO, the BSO has the brake compartment facing 'into' the train, rather than away from it.

I'll post a screenshot if you like.

Cheers,

Well, I had to put it one way 'round or the other, and I usually put the BSO next to the locomotive (which is the arrangement in most of my reference photos), and then the DBSO, if required, on the back.

BA, I guess I could do the Turbotrain... it's a TTD classic, after all. :)

Version 2 is up. This is likely to be the final version. Changes: Graphical fixes, and the BSO is now named as "Mk2 Mail Carriage" for easier identification.

Tried them out on a test map, and loved em. Pity they won't work in my East Anglia game, unless that Hex Editor lets you add to the vehicles that are available.

Hmm... perhaps "Mk2 Brake Carriage" (Or SomethingTM) might be better, otherwise there'll be people thinking "Hey, this mail van carriages passengers!" ;)

Driving Carridge

Post by TheGrew »

I don't think that the Driving Carridge is needed. But the other 2 are good.

Looks good!!! Downloaded!!

But, does it turn around at the end of tracks or does it use the driving carriage when it goes the other way? (am I making sense?)

Thanks!
