As our final action of the session, we help out the other end of the network. The WBO has a steel mill in use, but no scrap metal nearby. The only one anywhere near our network is the one in Westwood. So we start shipping supplies there, and add two links from the cargo network to the express line so we can add an express scrap metal train. It will run at a massive loss the first couple of years, but the extra metal output at the steel mill will compensate for that.

We're not playing with wagon speed limits, as NuTracks makes that quite superfluous. Express cargo is possible, just prohibitively expensive. And as soon as the faster MU passenger trains are available, this cargo train won't be able to keep up and will start causing congestion.
