Choose the correct folder. I assume that it is the build for the 11th, at least the date of the file is the 11th ;)

Server terminated. Didn't work at all. Dunno if it was the slow conection or the unstable PC (I got some message of SVC host or something crashing), but it just wouldn't work
Alcohol is not the answer, it just makes you forget the question.

Bah. using the IP's listed on this page (page 3), one server is un-used, the other keeps throwing people off. :)

There is a way to host a game using a router. I have one and I can host. All you have to do is set yourself behind a DMZ. Go in your router's settings and enter your private IP in the DMZ list. DMZ opens all ports so there is a risk.

No you don't. You just have to set up port-forwarding correctly.

well i downloaded all the files from 11 december, but i can't compile stuff, i really don't know how to do that, so i can't compile that "source" stuff, the files in the map source, and the other 2 files from the linux map from 11th december work, but when i open . openttd i can read the date 10 december instead of the 11th, and everytime i'm enetering a ip and pres enter the screen freeze, WAAAAAAAAA  i'm getting crazy

First impression, multiplayer seems to go very slow (maybe a server problem), rejoining a protected company isn't working (the only thing that happens is "2/6 authorizing", when sending a train to a depot, it desyncs the game (just happend to me, maybe a single incident). Anyway, the game looks great in multiplayer, but I think some issues have to be solved.

i sent a train to the depot too (accidentally). it de-synced.
Also using domiks server, it's very lagger (i'm on 1.5mb line (shared).
ping time to the server is about 1.2 secons for the first packet, and 50ms for the following packets, so i don't see how it can be that reason for the laggyness.

And Dale now knows how to crash an OTTD server. Sell a rail-car. Haven't tried an engine yet, but it appears that selling carriage will work beautifully (assuming a crashed server is what you want).

I managed to sell a an A4 with steel wagons and that did not crash the server. Perhaps its only with a certain type of train? I sold each carriage individually.

*thinks*
Did you always sell the last carriage?
Was selling carriages from the middle of the train both times.
