US set... US MOW CSX GE U23B

Remember guys, you must reinstall the serpent again after adding the missing files.

The serpent modifies the trains for this map.
Please give me a direct link of the us set.

I download the northamerican megapack 1.0.0 and the patch to 1.0.3, after i installed the scenario but i didn´t play :(

It sounds like you installed the Cargo, Passenger and Amtrak packs from the mega-pack. You forgot the MOW pack. LTD0?

Dont forget to use the US patch tool for the mega pack http://www.tt-forums.net/download/file.php?id=118813

Plastik updated several items for this map since the 1.0.3 map.

Plastik, you really do need to release your Dat crawler you sent me last year. It will eleiminate all of these problems.

IA, don't be offended. I don't think the man of Plastik will stop and fill in over 2000 dats into a web interface one at a time.

he does have this to help find his trains. http://www.amitrains.co.uk/plastikman/

@Plastik can you add your sound files to this table?
Also, all of your sets off the fanpage are missing from here and you have my Milwaukee Road Beta listed :p

run locossa to see what you are missing, if you have DL all yout miss a thing, and do exactly what is written in the readme to make it work.

The Serpent A scenario for die hards.

Before you install The Serpent, BACKUP YOUR OBJDATA FILE.

Then Install the following packs in the order given below,
if not you ll have problems.

-1 Start with a clean (default) Objdata.
-2 Install the LTD1 Conrail Alco Pack.
-3 Install the LTD2 New Jersey transit Pack.
-4 Install the US Megapack and all patches (3.0.3 minimum)
-5 Install Digidampfman's German Station Pack (#1 Thru #4)
-6 Install the London and Port Stanley pack V2.0
-7 Install the PROVO Map Included with the CLW/Dekosoft UP pack.
-8 Then install "The Serpent"

If asked to overwrite data, the answer is YES, The Serpent will overwrite
your TRACK files and a few others.

In this scenario, you'll have to build very long lines.

to make it a little easier and less mouse clicking, I recommend the use of "Autopause".
The Build while pause option is also very nice.

You ll have PRR, Penn-Central, New Haven, Conrail, CSX and Amtrak,
and for your city systems New Jersey Transit busses and New York city
metro's. no airplanes, and only the latest trucks and VW busses to have
more train slots.

----------

The scenario starts in 1920 there are no competitors.

It is designed for fun, not a real reprensentation of the PRR railroad.

----------

The map is equiped with the boundarys to make sure you follow the right path.

Most tunnel entrances are precut in to the mountains and hills.

You are free to build the way you desire.

I played this map twice and had best results when running
in one direction on each side of the serpent.

So, to go from Westfield to Laysville you exit trough the mountain and
return along the waterside.

Also, the best way to enter and exit the oil plataeu is next
to the Westfield iron ore mine.

----------

You'll find a few gadges for extra scenery, sounds and buildings.

----------

Credits;

I would like to thank Plastikman for his exhausting work on this scenario.
Lighthouse as being a good guineepig.

Best regards, and have fun

Each has a different sound attached to it, the idea is to place the goods-bulldozer close to a forrest and the passenger-bulldozer to the steelplant. Once you have placed the dozer you can remove the track underneath, see "Dozer instruction PNG".

Those tracks.... Could you send me the DAT For them?

Those tracks are in the installer pack for the Serpent. They are called GFUND.dat and PFUND.dat and they are the baseplate tracks wich are used for building the stations and the bulldozers. They are also in the Digidampfman Station Pack wich can be found on the German Locomotion Fanpage here: http://www.locomotion-fanpage.net/wbb/i ... abase&c=10

You will need all 4 packs of the Bahnhofs-Bausatz...

I know you don't need to register anymore...But being registered is recommended. If you wan't to download a lot from that site (I almost have every download wich is available there) you better register. Because if you don't you have to fill in a code for every download that you make, and that will costs lots of time...

That's because there are too many bridges (the two station roofs are track bridges) I'm guessing that you have the arch bridge installed. You need to remove the bridge from the TRACKST.dat and the road .dats to use the baseplate.

Before you ask, help is here.

I really don't want to go offtopic here in Zimm's topic...but I'm trying to help you here. You see it's not really nessecary to remove them from the TRACKST.dat like Harbon mentioned...It can work, but it will take a lot of editing to get it done !

First I want to mention that I only have this problem when I start a completely new game, as seen in the picture:
New Game.PNG
(23.69 KiB) Downloaded 2 times
As you can see I can select the Goods-plate but not the Passenger-plate (just as it is in you're case)

However when I startup the scenario-editor and open-up a landscape like the Serpent, or even an original scenario like Boulder Breakers I can select everything I want, from roads, bridges and tracks...So if I want to make a completly new scenario I first open up an existing one and then let the landscape-editor create a new one (for example only sea, where I raise the land while editing the map). Then I start creating my new map from there...see the screen:
Roads, Tracks and Bridges.PNG
(126.54 KiB) Downloaded 2 times
The Station-Concourse Bridges, the Arch Bridge (wich I use in every scenario), the Flyover, the Steel-Girder Bridge and the Wooden Bridge are all selected. All of the roads and every track I have in my game are selected as well...

I know my TRACKST.dat and Objdata map are a complete mess. As you can see I have the Archbridge 3 times (1 from Provo-Scenario, 1 from Digidampfman and 1 is the Suspension-Bridge wich I changed into the Archbridge) . You also see that I have the Flyover 2 times (1 from Provo and the other one was original the Brick-Bridge wich I changed into the Flyover). I did this because the Archbridge and the Flyover from the Provo-Scenario came with tracksounds as well. I wanted to use the bridges without the sounds (for use in other scenarios, and not only for Provo and the Serpent) so that's why I edited the original bridges into the Flyover and the Archbridge...(Like I said my TRACKST.dat and Objdata map are a mess, but I leave it this way because it works  )

This is how my TRACKST.dat looks like at the moment:

My ROAD.dats, TRACK.dats, BRIDGE.dats and STATION.dats are all edited. I also edited the TRACKST.dat in a way so that I can use the Bauplatz, the Goods-baseplate and Passenger-baseplate seperatly from each other. When you install Digi's station Pack you get those (PFUND.dat and GFUND.dat) together, but when you install the bauplatz you also get those (so everything gets overwritten, can't be used together and I couldn't select more bridges, so that's why I edited them to act as seperate trackmods).

I hope you can still follow me here... ?(

This somehow worked for me and I don't dare to edit my TRACKST.dat anymore because the game might crash if I edit it any further. All I wanna say that it is possible as you can see. That doesn't give a good solution for you're problem (I think) but I hope that it might help you to see what can be done with trying.

I pushed my Locomotion to the top of it's capabilities...with succes. However I still don't understand why I can't select the different tracks in a completly new game, but because I solved that with how I described it, it's ok for me the way it is now...

As usual, whatever you do: Always make a backup of the DAT.file you're editing (I have done that lots of time to get this far) !!!

You can also check my topic "Problem with bridges" for that wich you can find here: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=49943
Lets not go offtopic in Zimm's Scenario Topic...

Good Luck !

Hi,

@cards525
Which one you installed? From AmiTrains or Locomotion Fanpage?

How many items you have selected before you choose the track:
1. vehicles : ...
2. signals : ...
3. stations : ...
4. bridges : ...
