I think that It could be a good suggestion allow new city options with new GRF files, like add a park, add statue... If You want, I can start a new topic in the suggestion forum to discuss about this.

I'm not sure I noticed this in 2007, and the bumped posts from 2009 were "unread" for me, but now that I have noticed it (only 4 years late), I shall say "nice". And now that I've dug it up (thanks to the post in the OpenTTD forum linking me here), maybe others can enjoy it too.

I'll have to redo it as a new object at some point, but I guess that will be next Christmas now. Possibly.

I have a town square that sports a Christmas tree in winter in my TARS objects, see attached.

Christmas trees are now available as new objects!
No parameters are required, there are two variants to choose from, and all normal climates are supported. Enjoy!
