time is very different.it depends on the original model you want to replace.sometimes you can spend many and many hours.
here are the sprites for the copper ore trucks.i've chosen a green for the cargo thinking about a copper ore the malachit.
CryingCorvus wished to modify the old goods truck with other colors than green,i'v updated the middle model to fit with it.
i will post the first and the third armored trucks soon.
sprites are coded with working masks.

There are many great graphics creations here. Having looked throug the last 15 pages of this thread, I wonder though: is there also some replacement graphics for toyland available in 32bpp?

here are the sprites for the old and new armored trucks.i wasn't easy to imagine how they could be.
it was hard to find a picture of old models and to adapt armored cargo on the new one.
sprites are coded with working masks.
with theses ones all the trucks will be replaced except toyland models.
maybe it could be useful to post if everyone is agree to post a tar file for all the trucks in the openttdcoop repository.
total trucks file is near 7MB.

I don't think that Scanias are used as armored trucks. These are very common in the states:

Don't know about UK and/or europe though. Maybe a Mercedes? I've never seen a european armored truck.

it's a fiction truck.it could have been easier to make an existing model like this one but the interest was that it can fit
with the other third gen trucks.

I'l probably be able to live with it, and it (the trucks) looks really good. :)

once you put furniture(huge antenna) on the roof, once you remove it.
once you put flowers in the garden, once you remove it.
once you put a border on the roof, once you make a flat concrete roof.
garden borders are in concrete now and not in bricks.
it's very hard to follow.
the top in the construction phase is very strange,i've the the impression of a polystyrene frame.
why the roof is totaly flat, and the concrete texture on the roof is spreaded oddly? ?(

We use these. Standard van, with the secure, toughened bit inside the back.

I will try code it tomorrow, but I think that sometimes, the original buildings are not a good reference. Sometimes, they are too big, other times, they are too unrealistic...

But don't problem, I can try fix some details with GIMP. Also, I think that your two latest houses are very good.

Tomorrow I will try code the latest planes. Also, I have updated the lumbermill by DMH_MAC, I have added some snow sprites (created with GIMP  ) and I have added some contrast. The planks of wood could be too big. I will post the TAR file soon.

Northstar2: Do You have the BAT file for your latest trucks?
It's because sometimes they are useful.

waouw,i don't understand everything.it seems that you think upset about criticisms even when they can be constructive.
i don't say that your model is awful but it needs improvements.
i know models never can be perfect and agree it's not easy to make them but if modelers don't listen the suggestions of the users
what is the interest to propose new models to the users community?

I think what he meant was
I play with r155570, and I made the building from the game as it was, wether you like it or not. See attached file.
I made the normal image of the game on purpose to see the reaction of the forum. No comment.
There are too many unpleasant people. Criticizing that way is too easy. It's over, my brother Northstar2 and I have decided to stop producing models, no matter what you think about it. I am angry. A lot of criticism could also be done about the forum. Now just be brave and do things yourself, that way there won't be any more problems.
I wish you all the best anyhow.
I understand you get upset by all the criticism. What you don't understand is that we are all thankful for all your work, the intention is to guide you to produce the best model possible. Northstar seems to take the advice into account and produces some incredibly pretty buildings for the game. Don't take offense, you model just as well. There are only a few details that need changing, and that's where the criticism comes from. I guess there is also some misunderstanding due to the language barrier, which may have made some comments appear more rude than they actually were.
Please don't leave, you are the ones pulling the whole project forward and it would be a shame to lose the both of you.

Translation, to avoid misunderstandings:

I have coded the hotel, I think that the last model has a good shape, but it was untextured. I have modified it a bit with GIMP with the textures of the first model. Also, I have added some noise in some surfaces, because it looks a bit metallic:

You can use about anything. We use Volkswagen, Opel, Renault, Iveco, Mercedes and other types. Never seen a "18 wheeler"/Semi-trailer with valuables. No insurance company would insure a load like that anyway. This and this is the 2nd largest valuable vehicle I've seen in our country, while (WARNING, the image is something like 140 MB)this(WARNING, the image is something like 140 MB) is the largest

Though it doesn't matter how big the vehicle is, there's usually always a limit to how much you're allowed to drive around with, and if it goes over a certain (quite low actually) value you need police escort.
We're all scared. You hid in that ditch because you think there's still hope. The only hope you have is to accept the fact that you're already dead. And the sooner you accept that, the sooner you'll be able to function as a soldier is supposed to function. Without mercy. Without compassion. Without remorse. All war depends on it
