Well, on the sides, mainly.

They're both flat so there would be no reason to shade them
And the things on the sides are called tanks
If i shaded them, they would look round

Not necessairily, singaporekid. Also, not all colour variations mean shading. With some minor variation you can very well stress details, like tanks, domes, roundings etc.

EDIT: Punro and singaporekid, can you please use screenshots to show your work instead of png's? Png's are easily downloaded, modded and edited by someone else, perhaps resulting in a release before ours. actual screenshots usually only show 2 of the 8 views.

Very nice to know, but I was never talking about a specific thing on the side, I was talking about the side as a whole

Some news from the drawing board: the NS 1200 has been finished up to some small errors. There's also still a chance to replace graphics when we feel like we should. Right now the engine shows 3 different liveries and 4 different coaches, depending on the game date.
The NS 1600 have been finished too. This one shows the proper coaches now and replaces the last car of the consist in a drivers end in 2004. DanMack has offered to draw the 2 remaining liveries on the 2400 and also volunteered for the NS 2200 (a small diesel engine). According to his estimation we can receive the first result within 3-4 weeks.
Last but not least: version 0.78 of the NS Infosheet is available with thanks to Purno for the progress summary idea (boy, do we have work left).

EDIT: v0.79 is available!

Maybe it's an idea to change to topic's progress indicator to the 31% calculated in the infosheet in stead of the current 55%
I always thought 55% was too optimistic.

That's great! We might want to include a scenario of the Netherlands into the Dutch Trainset.

BTW: plz don't remove Huizen.

Oh NOES!!! I redid the NS 6200 cause it lacked details, colour problems, size problems, shading problems, and also because purno's drawing tutorials came up
This is the final version
New NS 6300 coming very soon
