Re: Build Templates (Copy&Paste) (r12932 + 0.6.0)
Yes, use of dynamite removes the issue, but that was not the point The point was simply that i believe this is undesired behaviour that may have unintended cosequences (paste a bit of mainline on top of existing bits and you have signals in the wrong direction), and there are situations when using dynamite is not a good option as it would remove something that should stay in place (also it tends to cost more if there is some existing track that is pasted on, but time is money so I guess I shouldn't complain about that )
I mean the reference tile that determines height of the other tiles (the tile that is under the mouse when pasting)

Re: Build Templates (Copy&Paste) (r12932 + 0.6.0)
Bug in with revisions (greater 12960, did not test older ones):
[SRC] Compiling copy_paste_gui.cpp
src/window_gui.h: In function »void ShowCopyPasteToolbar(int)«:
src/window_gui.h:295: Fehler: »void (* Window::wndproc)(Window*, WindowEvent*)« is private

That's hardly a bug.

Re: Build Templates (Copy&Paste) (r12968 + 0.6.0)
@lonkero173:
This behavior will be fixed, when i rework the whole signalling stuff.
Unfortunately there are many things linked to this, which needs to be done too,
and require an amount of time, which i currently do not have.
Updated to current trunk

Hy!
First of all i would like to say that i love the copypastesthingy..it's absolutely great
but i am having a prob with using it with the new version 0.6.1 ... i downloaded the 7z file and extracted it over the original files and...nothing
I can still run the game, but i don't get the copy paste menu...do i have to activate it somehow?
Thanks for you help

Well, i have noticed that many people do something that make the 7zip to not actually unzip or overwrite the files.
The way to do it in an empty directory is:
1. Get OTTD and unzip that into the directory.
2. Get the graphicsfiles required by OTTD and place them in the data subdirectory.
3. Get copy&paste and use 7zip to extract and overwrite the files it need to in the directory you unzipped the OTTD game into.
The general idea is to completly replace A LOT of the files with new ones, including the languagefiles.
I'd suggest that you check that the filedate and filesize of the .exe have changed.
Actually i had the same problem myself for very long before i finally undestood that i had not done what i thought i did.
And yes, copy&paste is really a useful tool

I belive Frostregen will do it when he can find the time.
I think we will have to wait for other processes in hes/her life to give up control.
(copied from someone sounded so nice )

bug: saving with an invalid name will crash the game (in windows: \/:*?"<>|). Preferred result: an error message, just like when saving the game.

Re: Build Templates (Copy&Paste) (r13911 + 0.6.2 + 0.6.2-RC2)
Will be fixed when whole save/load code is rewritten.
Btw: Currently you can crash (hang) openttd by saving a game as "aux.sav" (or some other file-devicename)
