Err ... can you please not use the yellow color for text in the first post?
It is almost unreadable on the forum background.

Perhaps try some shade of orange or purple, which is quite visible. Also, the green can be improved too, though the green color is quite readable, it could be better.
If you need something, do it yourself or it will be never done.

My patches: Extra large maps (1048576 high, 1048576 wide) (FS#1059), Vehicle + Town + Industry console commands (FS#1060), few minor patches (FS#2820, FS#1521, FS#2837, FS#2843), AI debugging facility

Other: Very large ships NewGRF, Bilbo's multiplayer patch pack v5 (for OpenTTD 0.7.3)

Actually the first three colours you mention are less readable (for me) than the yellow. It all depends on which style you're using. It's better when one does not use any colours at all.

Hmmm ... well, I am using the subsilver2 skin ... and the yellow is really unreadable.

What about this color? Seems to look fine both in subsilver and the default theme, though I don't know what mess will it be once someone switches to christmas theme again (well, that is the reason why I am using subsilver, since the christmas theme causes me great eye strain)

Considering patches in the patchpack, what about including "News message for buying exclusive rights" from http://bugs.openttd.org/task/2688 ?

This is your project. You can't go around demanding other people do any work for you.

If you don't have enough time to continue the project at the moment then it is sensible to leave it a while and pick it up another time.

If you don't have the expertise to continue updating everything then your choices are try to learn what is required, or drop the problem parts until another time. I daresay that if you do continue and get stuck in one or two places other people will be willing to help.

But demanding other people do things for you is just not on.

skummel: I did a quick check. Given that it takes screenshots on BMP format, it seems that the patchpack was compiled without support for PNG files. You are not doing anything wrong: until 2007Alain2007 solves that problem, you only can use PCX and BMP files with this patchpack.

2007Alain2007: You left some hidden folders created by svn in (four folders named .svn). Without them, the binary would probably fit into a single 7z file.
