Re: Trees?
Maybe because trees can now be made invisible even if houses are not transparent nor invisible?
Do you know that houses can be invisible too?
And not just houses...
Yup, can't stop progress...

Re: Trees?
Yeah but i dont want them to be invisible, i want them completely removed once i click the invisible buildings button.
Also the transparency options are not toggled with a button but are activated at all times.

Re: Trees?
Did you check the "invisible trees" button in the settings?

Yes it is on, i have a picture, the feature worked fine in 0.6.0 beta 2
Also i dont really need the transparency menu, i just want the trees to vanish like they used to.

Re: Trees?
Just use the CTRL+X feature and you can click the trees off very easily. Dont think they're gonna revert it to how it was...

Re: Trees?
You can have EACH item either invisible or transparent. Much more choice this way. But sure, you've got to use a new GUI. Oh well.Gurluas2000 wrote:Why not have both features activated?![]()

Re: Trees?
It was much easier just activating that transparent building thing,
All i need is that the buildings are transparent and that the trees are gone.
and it should be toggled.

Re: Trees?
Together with transparency locks (Ctrl+click in the Transparency options menu), you can switch transparency/invisibility for anything you want. Just press 'X'.

Re: Trees?
I still prefer the other less complicated way of using invisible buildings under options, its much easier to toggle.
Re: Trees?
I'd say it's easier to press 'X' than selecting an option in a drop down menu

Re: Trees?
I think you don't realize that you just have to set your favourite settings once and then you can use 'x' to have transparency and invisibility exactly like you want. it.Gurluas2000 wrote:I still prefer the other less complicated way of using invisible buildings under options, its much easier to toggle.
Re: Trees?
no, it's fast (press X to toggle)Gurluas2000 wrote:I still prefer the other less complicated way of using invisible buildings under options, its much easier to toggle.
it's very very flexible : you choose what is visible/transparent/invisible,
and you can also lock a settings.
really nobody (but you) wants to go back.

Re: Trees?
Actually i never wanted to go back, i just wanted both features, so you can use the transparent gui, AND invisible trees with transparent buildings.
Re: Trees?
CTRL+2 & CTRL+3, transparent trees the first, transparent buildings the second, if you want them invisible instead of transparent, CTRL+X and stick the buttons under the things you want, I usually play with invisible buildings and trees and the other things transparent
And I always play with both the transparency options toolbar and the terraforming toolbar always opened so be quick with a feature which allow to remember at least the stickyfied toolbars opened between savegames
