Can vehicles leave the station only from the side they are entering, or can vehicles enter and leave from both sides?

I will assume the first, so trains entering from the top, driving to the station, turning around and then leaving to the right. In that case, place a one-way path signal (the rightmost option in the signal selection window) on the track from the top before merging on the bi-directional track, and one on the track to the right at 1 train length after splitting from the bi-directional track. Optionally you can also place a two-way path signal (the option left of the one-way path signal) at the end of the bi-directional track so that vehicles leaving the station can already drive up to it even if the previous vehicle has not past the first signal on the exit track, but if that first signal is after 1 train length, that will not add a lot of throughput (compared to better signalling or double tracking a large part of the bi-directional track)
