Hey!
When I play OTTD on a phone, I have to use smaller maps so the performance isn't hit that hard.
I prepare the save on PC, but when I generate the map from a heightmap (like Cpt. K's) by for example halving the size, sometimes the game crashes with no report.
Does anyone know, what could be the problem?
I can see no rhyme or reason for the crash, it just happens in some cases, I would guess roughly in 20 % of maps.
I assume it's basically this issue: https://github.com/OpenTTD/OpenTTD/issues/6861, except for this part: "Can confirm this only affects scaling the images by a scale factor of at least 4 times bigger or at least 4 times smaller."
I don't change the scale by that much.
It's not a big deal, I can work around it by resizing the PNG itself in an image editor, it's just annoying and more work...
