I've always had an annoying issue that 32bpp or higher resolution NewGRFs look awful along with other 8bpp and 1x resolution NewGRFs, and today I discovered an option that makes them fit in better by limiting their resolution to 1x in the settings, however this also affects the HUD and makes it look noticeably worse. It would be great if this could be more configurable, e.g. an option to not effect graphics packs e.g. OpenGFX, or adding an option to let you choose which NewGRFs it affects for example if someone really liked Timberwolf's high-res sprites but not UKRS3's.
The first option could just be put in the advanced settings, but the latter would probably need to be added to the parameters screen for NewGRFs, the game could probably be coded to show it after the NewGRF's individual parameters.
Maximum Sprite Resolution option for specific NewGRFs, or an option to not make it change the UI.
