In general you shouldn't put spaces around strings, unless it's necessary as apart of a continuation. It upsets game's sorting and just looks quite messy.

Check that the bus is able to carry students as a cargo - students are NOT the same as passengers.

That's all well and good, but when you bought the bus, did you check what cargo types it can carry?
Also, check the vehicle information of the bus(es) specifically - if you had no specific cargo selected when you bought the bus from the 'New Vehicle' window, it'll likely default to passengers instead of students. If this is the case, send the buses back to the depot and refit them to carry students.

Is the school within the stop's catchment area?

You must modify the Bus to carry students. Some old newgrf from other authors may not allow it but Real Bus does.

I'm thinking of making a less complicated version of Real Industries, more of the load here and deliver there style without so many twists.

I still can't update via Bananas, it always stops downloading and won't continue.

create real planes add lots of planes with their original liveries and same with the ships add some real ships like oasis of the seas and so on as you created the cars and vehicles so good do same with other things and create some real roads with speed modification thing , create helicpoters , there are bugs and some industries like vehicle dealership not working enhance and expand the industries same as firs and include lots of complex industries , launh real vac train with high speeds , launch some compatible cargo trucks similar to goods , copy the auz objects and make them 32 bpp and so on try to make all the mods and grfs present in the game into a 32bpp version . these were the expectations of mine as your fan and a detailing gamer by sense . thank you i hope you would do something regarding this.

Did you try to delete the existing grf before downloading the new version? I'm going to try downloading it to see if the same thing happens to me.

There is no problem with that, just delete the file from windows (Documents\OpenTTD\content_download\newgrf\) , and after that re-download from Newgrf settings at Openttd main menu (without loading any game) you download and install it.

When you load your save game everything will be there.

It's a known quirk since the OpenTTD devs moved everything over to the new system a few years ago, and the solution is exactly what you discovered - try it again in a few minutes.

Honestly I have no idea if it's been raised on GitHub yet, but it's been brought up by users here, on Reddit and on Discord more than a few times.

Everyone doesn't want to create another account to report a bug when they can report it here. Reminding github can prevent someone from reporting a bug next time because they will know in advance what the reaction will be.

If you report a bug here, it's likely to get lost. I certainly don't read every thread here looking for bug reports.
