Autorenew's downgrade my train's engine to a level below or above the one i bought
Hi, i have been playing this game for a while in a 2000x2000 map and my big trains that i make of 7 tiles long (or any other size no matter what) always end up being or 7.5 tiles long or 6.5 tiles for no reason! (in other terms, or literally saying, they lose or get an additional-spare wagoon that doesnt seem like much but WHEN I HAVE MY STATIONS BEING AT A SPECIFIC LENGTH THE PIECE OF TRAINS GET SLOWED DOWN WHILE PICKING UP OR UNLOADING CARGO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK)
I dont understand the reason behind this but im pretty sure it has to do with the autorenew mechanic and something i didnt configured well...
Example:
Placing a giant roundabout that connects some gold producer to a bank and make some profit
make some trains that are level 4 "chimaera"
they all end up after some time being level 3 and this is driving me CRAZY.
The same happens if i make them level 3, they end up being level 4 and having more-less wagoons which then they get to the station that is 5 of lenght if they are 5.5 of lenght their progress gets slow as f*** and AAAAAAAAAAAAa wtFOOOOOCK.
Help please.

You'll have to share your savegame, I've never heard of anything like that happening before.
Auto-renew only replaces the train engine with the exact same model.
Auto-replace is a thing set up from the trains list and has you select a specific engine that then gets replaced with a specific other engine, optionally also only on specific vehicle group. It should only be doing the replacements you manually set up.

most likely you set up autoreplace in the past, and forgot about it.
since Lev 3 and Lev 4 are different length, replacing one with the other will make the train longer or shorter. however, there is a "wagon removal" setting to prevent the train getting longer (there is no solution for the reverse)
PS: "lev" is not an abbreviation of "level", but of "magnetic levitation"

Okay! But i currently dont know how to share my files to you. May we talk in private chat through this forum? i have my game of 2048x2048 and it has grown a little bit but the problem is still on: All my chimaera trains downgrade to Lvl. 3 and im very confused.

check your autoreplace rules.
and keep in mind that there are "global" autoreplace rules, and each group can have separate ones.

There, you have an autoreplace rule set up to replace Lev4 with Lev3.
