Welcome to the Japanese village of Soeda, and their recently built channel, shortening the transportation by ships with several days, which would explain the heavy traffic. An old train line and a brand new tunnel connects this otherwise remote town to the neighbouring villages. With all the new jobs provided by the channel, the population has increased to new heights.

My first entry on this competition

А town from my current map, suited on a fictional southern continent, on it's brink of industrial revolution.

It would seem that Baker Island is the last location to refuse to surrender to Daylight Savings conversion therapy but finally the last Wednesday in March has finally been forced to march along to wherever it is that last Wednesdays in March.go to retire.

Submissions are CLOSED for March 2022.
Voting is OPEN for March 2022.

Here are the submissions for March 2022:
ebla71 wrote:The Tonopah and Goldfield Railroad Co. was opened in 1905 to help transport gold (what else?) from some remote parts of Nevada first to Reno and then to the coasts. Also some people tried to graze cattle in this remote place or otherwise make a living. Still, the traffic can be handled by a single mixed train which is seen here just approaching Goldfield station. A passenger coach, a few flat cars, and a caboose - that's all. After the engineers have put the loco in the small shed they will certainly head for the saloon next to the station to also "re-fill" a bit  Just wonder what the cart is pulling up to the church on the hill :?: There were rumors that somebody had tried to illegally enter the McGregor mine in the hills next to Red Rock Canyon - and ya know, people here tend not to wait for the sheriff so maybe ... or maybe not?

Thank you! The trees are from OpenGFX+ Landscape, plus I've manually placed some trees / bushes from the Auz Creeks and Drain Set.

Welcome to the airport of Lima, located just on the outskirts of the city. Connected to both regional train lines, bus lines and the city tram, you can go anywhere in no time!

I rarely make stuff specifically for a screenshot competition so if you do see me again it means I've already built stuff that fits the topic lmao

Myroodah Station is a cattle farm in the far north-west of Australia. The distance to the next major settlement is long and therefore the few people who live here often take a plane or the The Flying Doctors come to care for the locals. Decide for yourself if this sandy landing strip qualifies as an airport ...

Here my screenshot entry.
Small airport in out back Australia servicing a small farming town and some other towns and farms with a few hundred kms.
Been suffering from drought for some time and it just in the last few months they started to get some rain so they could plant some crops and fill some dams.

Be interesting to see if any one else has a go at a small airfield .. see 20 people have downloaded the AuzTownObjectsAddOns with country airports.
I prefer the country then the city. In the city every one seems to be in a hurry to go nowhere. :D
Cheers

The movement never stops at Slonbourne Airport, which receives air traffic from the entire region, both passengers and cargo.

Located at the northern end of the city, it is very easy to reach by interstate highway or rail lines.

It also has a very important cargo distribution center from which packages are distributed throughout the region.
