Still fighting with the stadiums as always seem to be a few pixels out of alignment between the front and back sections.
Also the exits from the stadiums wonder if they should be narrower or further apart.

The enclosed buildings intend to make the seating and tables behind the glass different colours.
I'll have a break from them for a while and try again later in week.

It's a slow progress working on these new stadiums.
I done facing ones lower and upper levels as shown in the image.
Still to do the upper level with the restaurants and enclosed viewing areas.

I've watched a lot of auto racing from Europe this year, and most of the stands have been empty. I don't object to it. Players can decide what they look like. Or you could make it randomized and just overbuild it, have it cycle between empty/sparse/part full/full.

Thanks for the reply .. possible Covid-19 has kept the seats empty.

At the moment there are 4 random stadiums. Empty, Full and a few empty seats .. I probably could add with just a few people. Some sports grounds seats are often full near centre of field and see vacant seats either side and near the far end of fields.

I not be able do anything about it till Friday so give time to think.

Problem with Nascar Racings.

When I designed the tracks my idea was players do a bit of land excavation first like this.

And then use the slope aware nascar tracks and build the track they want like this.

But problem is .. those who do not have access to the forums and see this demonstration, how will they know? When this get uploaded on Bananas there no instructions about doing the excavation work.

So wonder maybe I should re-make these tracks as flat tiles.

Have you any suggestions?

P.S. The darker asphalt nascar track I plan to change that to a dirt track.

Just changed one of the Nascar Tracks to dirt using the original ground dirt tiles.

But wonder if anyone has a better idea for the dirt tracks?

There is some great roads sets available these days with dirt roads and wonder if one of those would been better to use?
If you have a favorite dirt road that be great for racing on please let me know.
If you made a road set with a dirt road and like me to use your graphics on these Nascar Track, please let me know and allow me access to them.

Guilty here! hahaha :wink: , actually I hadn't seen the instructions at the forum and basically I also thought that the corner tiles were missing. Garry's concern is valid.

I think adding something like "Auto Lay" or "Auto Place" to the description like you've already done on other sets (Creek + embankment, Narrow Creeks, etc.) might help.

Hi Garry! Just popped in here because I started using more of your decorative landscape objects after coming back to the game. And now I see there's Sports objects! Big pack too! Respect for all the effort you put in, I know what it feels like to not have the conditions in place for finishing stuff. At least you're sharing your work with us as it is released, instead of sitting on it. :D
Suddenly I have this urge to try and recreate the American Empire from Death Race 2000 in a map. Will be fun. 8)

Read back a few pages and I didn't really explain how to use the Nascar Tracks properly. I actually thought I put a image of sunken land several pages back but I didn't.
I changed the Purchase menu to look like this. (Need to realign the menu image when I remember).

The wording "These Auto Place" do you think these be better in white or maybe red colour?

Did a bit more to the new stadiums.
Did some with enclosed viewing areas and restaurants and some undercover sections as shown in this image.
But only in this direction at the moment. Could be several days before get chance do other facing directions.

Hey!! Another random interjection from me -- i installed the cloud set, it looks freaking amazing. But the clouds are kinda covering up stuff -- have you considered adding a parameter setting to change their opacity?

Let's say 25%/50%/75%/100% (where 100% is the current default).
