I have a CorelDraw drawing program, so I'll try it in that.
I can't draw, but I'll try... :-D
I use CorelDraw too. I can send you some images other have done that I used to practice with. First I try draw same as they had, and then I started changing things a bit at a time.
All those drawing we did when started school our parents and teachers would tell us how nice they are .. our teachers and parents told us how nice they are. So shorely they would not lie to us. :D

Yes! It's a railroad uniform! I have been working as a dispatcher on the railway for 39 years :-)
I started at a small village station. And today I remotely manage 5 railway stations.

I would be grateful if you could send me some files so I can try to learn it. It would be great! But don't expect miracles from me anyway :-D
And maybe even to the post office if the files are very large.

Would definitely suggest to use GIMP - it's free software, very powerful, and runs on a number of different operating systems like Linux, macOS, and Windows.

The only limitation is possibly that there are a lot of menue options which can be very small - therefore definitely need a big display, will possibly not be a pleasure to work with on a regular laptop screen.
Thanks for advice! I will also download GIMP and try which program is better for me. But I have been working with Corel for a long time and I am satisfied with it. I work exclusively on a PC with a large screen, I rarely use a laptop and rather only as a messenger :-)

Looks a enjoyable job you have. The work your doing is a lot like a game called Train Dispatcher. It also has a add on some can build your own screen called Track Builder 3, made by Signal Computer Consultants.

I worked on railways here from 1970 to 1994. Started out cleaning locomotives and scrapping rust out of steam engine water tanks. Then transferred on to railway stations and last 12 years as a Station Master. I got pensioned off due to I fell off a wagon when loading wool. Fractured both my ankles, right shoulder and skull. Brain injury is permanent and often when I code I forget what I doing and how to do it. Also lose concentration on a project so need to start something different keep the brain active.

What some of the things you like to learn to draw so I can send some things on that subject.

God, it's not nice when an accident like this happens. It doesn't sound good to me, but the important thing is that you're alive.

We say everyone who works on the railroad is a goofy rails. :-D Today's young people don't have the same relationship with the railway as we do, even if they work on it. I originally wanted to work as a train driver. But it somehow went wrong (perhaps the control of fate?) and I was already preparing to work as a dispatcher at a secondary vocational school. But I enjoy the job, so even though I've tried other jobs, I've come back to the railroad and I'll stay here until I retire. I don't like computer games, except for Transport Tycoon :-D So I don't know the ones you're talking about :-)

I would like to learn how to draw buildings to begin with. So if you can send me such files. I think I will do the same as you and learn from what someone else has drawn. First, please send me what someone else has already created. And maybe I'll learn ;-) Thanks, friend!

And I wish you a lot of health and strength!
Have a nice day

P.S.
And sorry for my english. I don't speak a word, so I translate everything through Google Translator and sometimes it's a little rough...

When I started cleaning engines that job was called Trainee Engineman. I had some early driver training moving diesels in and out of the sheds and made ready for the crews. But I not like the strange hours they worked .. 3.12 am and weird times like that and when they worked a job to another depot they go to barracks (camp there) till they get a job to work home again. Some times they be stuck at the other depot for days.

Will upload here some graphics from FIRS 1.4.3 Industry set. These what I first learnt with as has lots of different shape buildings.

Thanks a lot!

I'll just ask one more question, when I looked at the drawn objects, they seem very small. Does it have to be drawn this small or can I draw it big and then make it smaller?

Thanks and have a nice day my friend

If like can do up a bundle of tile templates so you can see what size is needed.

You can draw them large to start with if like and shrink them to fit the tiles.

Also notice the front main door has fallen off. The other views will show the door I mean.

Hope tomorrow do a parking lot with council vehicles and it will have the fixed fire stations.

Well, I have to draw it big first and scale it down. But so far I'm not doing very well...

It took me months to learn. I try for a few days and get frustrated with it and have a break for a week or 2 and come back and try again.

When you drawn something display it here or start your own post as the members will help you and let you know if any thing can be improved.

Hi Garry,

Your industrial set has some industrial buildings with very nice chimneys. For example:
chimney_1.JPG
chimney_1.JPG (88.01 KiB) Viewed 1874 times
I'm wondering if it's possible to add chimney as a separate object in Auz Industry set? Probably with multiselect option to save sprites.

Not sure, if it's possible and not too hard to do also with same FIRS style objects:
chimney_2.JPG

There're many applications for them, for example heating stations like bellow:

Do you think we could get some proper modern style hospitals with helipads on the roofs, atm for this I'm using fake airport objects with helipads too the side of the buildings. Quast's fake airport objects work really well as generic "modern style" wards and blocs but some more variation would be wonderful.

I'm sure somewhere there will be some sprites that would look quite good with some basic modification....

I been searching Google Earth looking at different hospitals in Australian Cities and some I seen are 8 stories high. So wonder how a hospital that tall would be in game?
Could put a dummy Helipad on the roof.

Hope to make country town style of these emergency buildings eventually.

Best gauge I think would be just to look at how the odd blue and white buildings look in fake airport objects, the tall almost skyscraper things are decent for helipads affik they are roughly 10 stories? The 2nd tallest ones would be best for pretty much standard hospital stuff...

AuzRVAnimalsBikesAndPeople.
Subject: New release.

I been trying to figure out why some RVs in set are on wrong side of road and thought it is in the coding.

But it also in the graphics. So I need to make changes in coding and in graphics.

Might take me a few days or more to fix and when I do upload it, it will replace all previous versions.
