What I used was a colour 2 shades darker or lighter then the main colour and set the transparency at 40%.

I did do the gray roofs but then it rained and made them all clean again. well not actually I forgot to do them. :oops:

shall work on them again when I get home this afternoon.

Quast65 and I been looking at some surf improvements.

Added new animated surf to the to Auz Reefs and Atolls Objects Pt 2.

and these are some test files of several ideas that I experimenting with let us know what you think of some of these.
Don't let the rocks graphics worry you they only to experiment with. Hope do better rocks once get the surf surfing better.

still no internet at home and will be that way for at least 2 more weeks.

In mean time kamnet reminded me of a old project that I forgot about and was working on almost 4 years ago called AuzConveyBelts.

Next theme will be... ADVENTURE IS OUT THERE!. Interpret as you'd like

really got me thinking what objects could be made for such a theme?

If you have a idea but no one has coded it yet .. then throw your ideas in and just maybe myself or one of the other coders might be able to do something about it.

maybe some form of landmark set? probably wouldn't fit with modern skyscrapers, but old landmarks such as the pyramids, aztec temples, medieval towers and castles could be nice :D . Have to say though, It probably wouldn't be too much of an auzobject set :| . If you want to stick true to auzobjects though, you could try doing some motels or roadside gas stations, trailer parks etc ( A true aussie adventure would be a roadtrip :D )

I do plan on drawing some landmarks, too, although I'm planning for more skyscraper/highrise landmarks, not so much statues or ancient wonders. I do like garry's style and I would love to see him try some popular australian landmarks like the big banana or the sydney opera house :mrgreen:

To stop my mind going insane with no internet at home, I went for a train ride out into the country yesterday and got some photos of farm buildings and added a few more objects.

Made some of the more modern water tanks and a few sheds.

The tanks by clicking continues will cycle through 8 versions of that that particular colour of single and double tanks that can be placed near previous buildings.

There are 3 buildings for the 2 directions. (Room for 5 more when get chance to make them).

Looks nice! I'm a huge fan of the texturing, maybe you could create some farm markets to fit in with the theme? you could us the farmer's market from simcity as inspiration :D

Farm Additions:

* The Dairies .. I added milk trucks.
* Added some sheds to house tractors and othe farm machinery.
* Added larger water tanks that can go beside buildings.
* Added a few more houses. The lager ones have fly screens around the verandahs.
* The 2 smaller onces are usually a style found around rivers and lakes that fisherman use.

Looking at idea of a harvest time .. have crates that can be placed near the crops. Also hope add some harvesters (people).

It's the farmer's market building from simcity 4, Should pop up when you type it up. I think it could fit into a set like yours well :D

Had a look at some on internet. when I get chance to work on them I think they will be put in auzObjectsAddOns. But I will check for space when I get home.

My mate "fridaemon" has some objects that could be used with a little tweaking.

We have those in Australia too. Maybe if I make some I could get the camera to flash a red light as if reading he number plates of vehicles passing under.

Farm Additions:

* Next issue will have a some changes made to the following to free up some IDs.
Want to join what objects I can and make them multi select so I can free up some IDs for futre additions.

Some I plan to make as multi-select objects are:
** The 2 Old Farm Houses.
** Flowers in Green Houses.
** Grain Trucks. (I did these last night and it freed up 4 IDs)
** Irrigation (this will give me a chance to make a few more types).
** Road Vehicles.
** Scare Crows.
** Stock Yards.
** and maybe the wheat fields.

Why do I want to do this? To free up some IDs to make some more farm objects. I been travelling by train out into the country and taking photos of farms and these are giving me some ideas.

Such as this irrigation .. not sure if I be able to animate it and it go around the 360 degrees .. but just a stationary one will look good.

For game scale the cameras probably only be 1 pixel that why if I make it flash be able to see it. But before I make it will see what images I can find of them. But have to wait till when I get internet back on at home.

By time I get home from visiting library not many hours left for me to enjoy computer time.
