Pictures of your OTTD games
These are my pics of a testgame were i tested newgraphics sets for bugs
I found some like in some scenarios from ttd not open trains from arcticset apear in temperate
Notice:What a nice forest
Notice:I used cheat code alt+1(becouse i only tested graphics and i needed money)
Ok here are those pics:

You will soon like it becouse you will soon can build very much signals with a new pach
And you can use new graphics with the latest nightly build already
But the usage is limited to Tempsetpw.grf Arcticsetw.grf newshipsw.grf
how to use it?
Just copy files that i mentioned to your data folder and add this to your openttd.cfg

Code: Select all

The trains
Certain trains leaving this station dont exit out the back, but loop around the front to a different bay to leave, any way to stop this?
(if i were to use pre, how do i set them up) I tried setting it up following Owens and some other examples with no luck.

Re: The trains
One the signal before your big station (the one way), just hold down CTRL and click on it with the signal building tool, and you will get a one way pre-signal which should fix most of the problem.crilen007 wrote:(if i were to use pre, how do i set them up) I tried setting it up following Owens and some other examples with no luck.
And also, get rid of the straign piece (e-w) in the middle. Your station should look like this one attached and it will get rid of the loop back.

Re: The trains
in that position the shortest way to reach the checkpoint is to reverse and turn left (count how many pieces of track are necessary to reach the checkpoint from the station don't worry about connected/ not connected, station squares are counted as 1 square, independant of the dimension of the station), but impossible, the solution is to put the checkpoint "cirlen ville" before the depot, just after the station exitscrilen007 wrote:Certain trains leaving this station dont exit out the back, but loop around the front to a different bay to leave, any way to stop this?

Well, loving those A4, i wanna get those in tropic also :)
This double junction is getting me headaches, by that junction passes all the coal of the map, timber, steel and grain products, by 1958 i'll carry those in the fabulous A4. Any ideas to improve the junction? And there is some way to get the temperate trains working on tropic maps?

You only need a single one-way signal at the entry of a one-way track. The reason I use so many is that it allows the trains to drive really close to the next one. They don't need to be one-way, but it doesn't hurt either. The pre-signals er very important to make the station work. Without them, the entire station would become a mess. In short, an entry (or combo) pre-signal will only turn green when at least 1 exit (or combo) pre-signal behind it is green. This prevents trains from trying to enter a part of the station that is already occupied. Here is a basic explanation of the signals: http://www.owenrudge.net/TT/adam/rail5.htmlMeusH wrote:That is amazing! Now I see I sux in that... I don't get that special semmaphores. Anyway, you put soo many one-sided semaphores, to make one way?
