Cargodist - the same passengers unloaded, loaded
I have started experimenting with Cargodist as I thought it should bring more realism to the game but I am still running into issues when it comes to transferring passengers. The problem is that passengers from for example Tastywick want to go to Rattlewig woods. In Rattlewig woods there are some passengers that want to go to Tastywick. Ok, so I ordered my buses to go from Tastywick (no particular order) to Rattlewig woods (transfer and load). But once they unload passengers from Tastywick they load them again right away because now they want to go to any station, but they come from Tastywick, if you get what I mean. You can take a look at the saved game. So eventually I have buses that only carry passengers from Tastywick and are not profitable then. Similar happens to my Rattlewig woods ←→ Egghead west shuttle train. It's still in red numbers. I am sure I am doing something wrong but I just can't figure it out. If somebody could help me it would be great.

Re: Cargodist - the same passengers unloaded, loaded
don t use transfer order....you need a simple go to order (the load and unload is automatic according to where people want to go
Re: Cargodist - the same passengers unloaded, loaded
I see. Thank you. So with Cargodist the other loading/unloading orders are not used at all?
Re: Cargodist - the same passengers unloaded, loaded
you are welcome,
for the full load order : it mess the capacity calculation i believe, so it s better not to use it (of course this only apply for cargo wich may have destination)
for the unload all and leave empty : it can be usefull if you don t want that destination get created for both way and back --> usefull especially when freight have destination -> imagine farm A send cereal to factory A and to factory B , those factory A and B receive also cereal from other farm B, C, D, etc.... you have to carefully put this unload and leave empty to be sure that vehicule do not create a path(on the usually empty return trip) for cereal from farm B.C.D-> factory A <->via farm A <-> factory B <- farm E.F.G
for the tranfert order : only use left i guess is for things with no destination
the no unloading+no loading : can be usefull too, to avoid create a link in a station where a train stop but where you don t want a link to be created (exemple : a station in the order list that is used as maintenance yard/waiting zone/ etc...)

Re: Cargodist - the same passengers unloaded, loaded
there is nothing wrong with using any of the order modifiers. but you have to understand what they actually do.
if you use "transfer", you tell the people "you can only switch vehicles here, this is not suitible as a destination"
