I think the building style of cities reflects the 'age' you are in. So I doubt you can actually compare it. :)

True, but still the LoMo buildings mostly remind me of the 1602 AD or 1503 AD graphics, not the 20th century.

I don't think I agree with them being that old, but they do seem like late-1800s. I think they are very very pixellated but most likely that's because of the JPG compression. I want to see a non-compressed version. One of the weaknesses of TTD was there wasn't that much building variety; I suspect that LoMo will have new buildings built in the style of the era in which they are built, so over time you will get a realistic variety. The only locomotive we've seen that can be identified, is a Crocodile, which I think is around WW1, right? So the buildings would be sensible as what you would see in that era, mostly having been build in the late Victorian era.

I just hope those stupid fountains and statues won't pop-up too much
Hopefully we have some control over the percentage of buildings, or what it accepts/gives
Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future

Isn't that just a broken water pipe? Looks like a backyard with a fountain to me (relax Spiff).

I hate swearing but I'm not convinced that "p***" is technically a swear. At least not in the US, maybe in the UK, like "b****y".

Call me easy to please. but I am very happy with the sole fact that LM coming at all! You people just don't stop about what is good and what is bad, all based upon three (3!) screens. I'll wait for more screens to form a solid opinion.

Well, if you've been waiting for a sequel for more than 10 years, you expect something better, not some cheap ripoff of RCT. At least that's my opinion based on these screens.

And the first screens of a new game should be a VERY important thing!

Well, in the interview, Chris mentioned that the increase of RAM and HD would mean that he could implement a lot more graphics. So hopefully we'll have a lot more buildings, and of differnet ages. Also hopefully get new railway station graphics as the years pass by. That would be good.

Well, we already kinda have that with Michael's beautiful graphics and the Patchteams' efforts :)
