I finished it! My game is done, I'm through with this game after a whole week of useless wasting time wich I couldn't use for anything else. It's ready now. Maybe I'll start a next game later, but not with the building speed I showed in this game. One week to complete 175 Years (1875-2051) isn't a normal life, but for this time: What the hay!

It has been a pleasant game, And I never forget the time. When I play next games, It will not be always on this forum. We've seen what I can do.
Thank you for following, who-ever you are!

Is this something the way it shuild be build?
Only in this example it's the year 1877 (a bit early..., but what does it matter, I wanted to build something like this).

EDIT: I started this map already, I couldn't resist. No savegame, only this screenshot from the same area, but now it's at the dawn of the 20th century, 1899:

My fellow rbos86, I believe I fixed the red house and hospital issues. Give a try on the new version. I've uploaded it on BaNaNas.

Not really... ;-) But if you like it, then its fine by me, happy to see it pop up in a screenshot!!
But in reallife it looks more like this:

I see what I did wrong.
There's a single platform attached to the passenger hall. I don't know the station in real life, but what an artwork!

Yeah, thats why it is in a separate purchase menu. More of these types of stations (so with tracked and non-tracked tiles combined) are in the making.

And Silverx50 is working on an even more realistic version (in reallife the tracks of Rotterdam CS are on a higher level)
viewtopic.php?f=26&t=74749&start=600#p1188552
That will eventually be offered as a separate station, so both options are available.

And loads more Dutch stations are in the making, keep an eye out in the Graphics-development section!

I actually quite like how it looks ... lengthwise? As a terminal station? Nice. No reason not to be creative with this sort of thing ;p

But again with the too tight corners, tsk :p

I've tried to build otherwise, but my brain keeps saying to use every square at full functionality, and therefore it's hardly beautiful. lol. 8)
Small stations like the regular ones and those from newStations are much more simple and modular.

I think now I'm the fool why things should be fool -proof.......... 8)

I like modular stations, and keep using my fantasy, whether it's beautiful or not:

Anyway, thanks for your replies, I'm going to study how to build better in OpenTTD! 8)

Uitzjfdhslen looks odd? Tracks running into the stairs? :?

Certainly a great GRF few. Need to keep that in mind once I start my next game ^^;

I didn't get it. I am busy in some game I started to build wider corners. The trick is that I needed normal amount of towns, and a 2048x2048 map. I don't need to build tight corners anymore, so... 8)

So, I couldn't resist, starting to play a new map and make some screenshots of beautiful places.

Very nice station. But now question. Why do you never lay buffers on terminus platforms of your stations ?

That's because I play Transport Tycoon Deluxe that way since it was out in 1996. In those days there were no buffers in TTD.
I guess it never came to my mind...

New game in OTTD.

Not looking like Cities: Skylines or GTA V, but I love this game still.

But it was only for a short while, I've made some terrible economical boosters, and have begon industry in 1881, resulting in ugly network (or beautiful, if you love industry).
