I've read many times that cities grow together. I've downloaded many saved games with really huge cities. How can I make cities grow together (by now I have a city with a pop of 10,000)

A lot of the large cities you see might have been created with the scenario editor. It is also a lot easier to make cities grow in TTO that TTD. See the <a href="http://i-want-a-website.com/about-tt/" target="_blank">Transport Tycoon Semi-FAQ</a> for more information on creating big cities (I think that's the site it's on!).
