Re: Your CURRENT train journey?
I'm currently SAT (yes, Sat! ) on the 1726 Piccadilly to Leeds, pair of 170's. Packed full, booted out my original seat by someone who had a reservation, but good things come to those who are kind, and I found another seat further up the train.
Re: Your CURRENT train journey?
In a slightly overcrowded train from Amersfoort to Utrecht. Been a while since my last train journey.

Re: Your CURRENT train journey?
My record that I heard was FOUR AND A HALF HOURS!
I was at Birmingham New Street on a bit of a bash and came across a Pendolino that had got stuck in a neutral section after an engineering unit had brought the knitting down in the Rugby area on a Saturday during the West Coast project.

Train was fine - some of the people hopping off looked extremely rough mind!

Highest I've seen is 2 hours for a Southern Service from London Vic to Southampton, before they finally cancelled it and left a (insert rude word here)load of Students stranded at Southbourne Station

Ah, not that far back. This was maybe 2 years ago. Stuck on a Pendo for 3+ hours somewhere near Wembley because the wires had been dragged down in front.
