I'm currently SAT (yes, Sat! ) on the 1726 Piccadilly to Leeds, pair of 170's. Packed full, booted out my original seat by someone who had a reservation, but good things come to those who are kind, and I found another seat further up the train.

Currently on a 455 heading for home, Purley Oaks. Currently at Thornton Heath.

All trains delayed due to a "one under" at Gatwick.

My record that I heard was FOUR AND A HALF HOURS!

I was at Birmingham New Street on a bit of a bash and came across a Pendolino that had got stuck in a neutral section after an engineering unit had brought the knitting down in the Rugby area on a Saturday during the West Coast project.

Phil Sayer said "I am sorry to announce that the xxxx Virgin Trains service to Liverpool Lime Street is delayed by four hours and thirty minutes"

Train was fine - some of the people hopping off looked extremely rough mind!

Highest I've seen is 2 hours for a Southern Service from London Vic to Southampton, before they finally cancelled it and left a (insert rude word here)load of Students stranded at Southbourne Station

Currently on 0806 Reading - Henley for work at Wargrave...

Ended up on a 180 from Paddington, and bow in a Turbo.

And guess what, its delayed, this time due to signalling problems at Reading West.

Ah, not that far back. This was maybe 2 years ago. Stuck on a Pendo for 3+ hours somewhere near Wembley because the wires had been dragged down in front.
