Re:Windows 2000
Two words: you can't.
The Windows version will complain about various errors and not even get to the title screen. It's possible to get rid of some errors, but in the end you still can't get into the game.
With Windows XP, the furthest I've got with the DOS version is the title screen for a split second before it crashes. Someone here said they could view tutorials on Win2K with the DOS version, but I haven't been able to get past the title screen with the DOS version of both TTO and TTD.
If you manage to get it working somehow, please tell us!!!!

Yes you can, if you have duel boot, except you have to format your hard drive. Don't ask me how to do it though.

Re:Windows 2000
But that isn't getting it to run under Windows 2000 natively - it's running it under DOS (or Windows, or whatever OS you're using as an alternative).

On my system it will start up and run indefinitely until I try to build something. It will run the tutorial sequence. Complains about having enough memory.
