Re:TTDx Edit
It's on Nick Hundley's site. The trouble is, I don't know the URL of his site. I've posted a message on alt.games.microprose.transport-tyc about this.

Re:TTDx Edit
Very cool little program, but be very careful not to increase the production too high. You'll actually cause the Mine, Forest or whatever to actually stop producing altogether...
Worse luck ...

Hi,
Thanks for the link. I did think that sevrel of my coalmine/forests had stoped producing, but nothing else.
Also if you use TTDx patch the TTDx edit file does not work. On my computer anyway.

Re:TTDx Edit
Start TTDEdit as usual, select the game save you wish to edit, for example trt01.sv1 & do what you want ...
When you save the game, select trt01.sv1, TTDEdit will popup & ask if you wish to replace, click Yes.
Start TTDPatch as usual & load up your game save you just edited, now everything should be ok ...

Re:TTDx Edit
Yes, TTDEdit generally works fine for me with TTDPatch games.

Re:TTDx Edit
But does it work with games where the morevehicles switch is used?

It should do - not necessarily will do, but should do.

Re:TTDx Edit
Ah good. I probably won't use it anyway. I'm a shameless cheater but I'd rather use the scenario cheat to ad more industries so I can build more stations and expand my network.
Thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway.

Re:TTDx Edit
I don't like cheating and I don't do it (much ). I did alter the production of a forest that halved (720 to 480 or something), as the trains servicing it were good earners.

Re:TTDx Edit
Cheating makes the game better for me. I'm isatiable so I want bigger and faster networks. Money just gets in the way. Kinda like real life.orudge (05-10-2001 16:53):

Re:TTDx Edit
I usually have plenty of money by around 2000 (in the tens, maybe even hundreds in some cases, of millions of pounds).
