You should set the depot y-pixel offset global variable, so that your vehicles are properly aligned vertically.
He's like, some kind of OpenTTD developer.

Have you ever considered adding the Factorio locomotive(s) to NUTS or would the devs be unhappy with that?

There's not much point in doing that :)

Hello,

Apologize for this, but I cannot make NUTS become 32bpp.
Whenever I tried to try it in new games, the game will show 8bpp .

This is what I have in my GRF folder:
inside game folder.JPG
inside game folder.JPG (45.65 KiB) Viewed 4314 times
As you can see, I installed YETI, PURR 0.0.6, and NUTS 0.8.4, as per instruction.
I checked on the parameter and 32bpp SLUGs: enabled.

This is what I get ingame:
game.jpg
game.jpg (88.91 KiB) Viewed 4314 times
Is there something I miss here? Please help. Thanks in advance!

NUTS is not a fullzoom set, it only contains a handful of fullzoom assets.

The only fullzoom assets in NUTS are the SLUG locomotives. that is the T-1000, which is not a SLUG.

Enjoying this set for something different - started from 1920, got to 1926 but don't seem to have an InterCity/Express loco option but do have carriages - is this intentional?

NUTS parameters - would it be possible to add an option to replace ALL signals?
At the moment the choice is:
  • OFF
  • Wetrail only
  • Wetrail and PURR
  • Wetrail, PURR, Rail, Electric Rail, Monorail and Maglev
I would like to have an option to replace all, because the signals for PIPE and WIRED newgrfs are pretty hard to read.

And.. THANK YOU. This is an awesome set!

I don't think it's possible for one railtype GRF to override another set's custom signals, at least not without code specific to those other sets.

And letting in gen z like me into games like this shouldn't happen because boy oh boy will we mess it up

NUTS unrealistic train set - changing maintenance costs

Post by GrandSeverus »

Hey,
So i run tons of mods.
I love train mods.
Most mods allows the of change of maintenance costs of vehicles it introduces, NUTS doesn't.
I am wondering can i somehow change the maintenance of nuts mod.
Thanks for the info,
Cheers,
P.S.
I have already set, in game maintenance costs to high, nonetheless, it is still much lower then other train, bus, tram, ships mods i have.

Old post but for anyone still curious, the video titled "OpenTTD - NUTS - YETI trains lost 32BPP? - possible solution here" states v0.7.9 removed many of the 32bpp graphics; from v0.7.8=105Mb to v0.7.9=44Mb (@1min52sec in the video)
