I have created a script that creates a tree of folders for Transport Tycoon, by name of railroad, year and month.
It can be edited in Notepad eg to change railroad name or year as required.
Just save it in your TT folder, then edit and run it before each year of game and save time and interruptions in your game.
Hope you like it

That's why I suggested having a 'new folder' button in the save dialog, but I was told it wasn't really possible.
