Aye, that one looks impressively detailed on the inside and outside. I'm not into vehicles, but that VW T-1 Camper Van looks amazing, and I know it's on the wishlist of many AFOLs :P

Pretty simple, but bought one of these at work to use as a prop today. Something for Andy I guess...

The Lego Intrepid carrier at the Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum in New York is also awesome!

I wonder how many hours went into the planning and then into the building of it. Both carriers look awesome for sure!

I like that you can get something recognizable with just a few Lego parts

Image

although some more give the possibility to have more detail

And even more parts give even more detail

Those are impressive models. First thing I did when I moved into my new house in April was to unpack the lego railway and make a lounge sized layout that stretched intothe kitchen. Was a glorious couple of days. One dayI'll get round to making a lego steam train as realistic as possible in lego :D

We've had another train meet - bigger, badder, better (at least IMO):

As LocoRoller says - I'm part of a Lego club, mainly for adults (http://www.swebrick.se) and we arrange meetings where people bring their Lego creations around some theme, and at this time of the year I arrange a train meet (as this is the second year running, it's now a tradition! Scroll back in the thread and you can see the pictures from last years meet, too).

We started building the layout around 10.00am and had trains running round before 2.00pm. The engines, wagons and houses people had built at home before the meet, it just the track and general layout we have to build during the meet. Some greenery and landscaping took quite a lot longer to finish.

We also work together with local museums and other organisations and arrange exhibitions or play evenings.

Are you talking about the train or the factory (or both)?

The train is a standard (but expensive) Lego product from 2009 - the Emerald Night - http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=10194-1.

The factory is a scratch build by one of our most talented builders (with quite a large Lego collection, too - which helps a bit).
