Okay I'm using Linux but every time I play Simutrans it glitches up 5 4 3 2 1 glitch 5 4 3 2 1 glitch
or 3 2 1 glitch (repeats this).

Is there a way to unlag it so it runs smooth as OpenTTD on Windows or Linux.

BTW I use Linux Domain 9.0 Ubuntu.

Could it perhaps be that your computer cannot handle all the things thrown at it? Are you running any other programs? What does "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, glitch" mean?

the numbers are a count down of seconds before the lag happens

try to start simutrans with option -nomidi, ie "./sim -nomidi", sometimes the music driver is the cause of problems.
