Make it so ya can hold build railroad so ya can select point where start and end more easily. By the way why music wont play even i remove the # from list and i have them downloaded and music volume is set on full?btw i also made a Channel to talk about TTD and ST in network:irc.irchighway.net ,channel is #TG

If you use Linux version, there is no code for playing midi files included.

Owen Rudge wrote the music playing code for Windows. He might read this message and maybe he can help you.

I don't even have a working soundcard, so I cannot test and sound related issues.

What operating system are you running? Also, can you paste your music.tab file here?

i fixed the problem by copying someone elses settings. Eny advices how to start out the game, i tried Passenger services first but didn't make much profit then i tried Ore and Coal transporting but still i get debt very quickly(i even setted up powerline services to try pay out the maintenance costs with those,i had atleast 5 diffrent powerline services all over..and they were supplied with continius coal,trucks,trains)

Don't try the powerlines. They aren't officially included and surely do more harm than they help.
