Yes, thank TownCars AI for completely spamming the map with only Emergency Vehicles. Apparently they're even more attractive than Generic Cars.

Hm, well, I don't know why that would be, since I'm not the TownCars AI developer... :?

Actually, now that I looked, I didn't have Generic Cars loaded. So, that would be the reason why :P Seriously, though, the vehicles look awesome clustered up like that. I just don't like the fuzz raiding all my farms! They should be fighting the rising crime in my cities!

These shots are more or less AMAZING! It's also a good example of efficient networks that look realistic as oppose to ugly tangles of maglevs covering cities

Hm. I'd hardly call what I did efficient. In those early games I don't think PBS was around yet, I had jam-ups ALL the time. I think I do a much better job these days, although I've not broken out the maglevs in forever. I'll generally start a game in the 50s or 60s and start playing w/ ChillCore's Patch Pack, using the daylength patch to it's maximum. My last game (which may or may not be lost) I've was running from January-October 2011 and had only advanced 20 or so years game-wise.

Just a random screenshot from my current game that I've been playing off-and-on since January 2011. I'd re-size it, but I think that takes away from some of the detail.

Another one-shot, this time of my newly-built sugar refinery. Not yet opened, but will be as soon as I finish out my network!

Your stations and industries look amazing, although I'd like it more if you ditched the 2x45 degree turns - it looks ugly when long trains are turning 90 degrees in the space of a tile or two.

I don't worry about it when the turns are entering or exiting a station, trains are going to be slowing down anyhow. If we ever actually get curved tracks in OpenTTD, I'll have to give it more consideration.
