how do I view my TTD screen shots?

i know they save as something like PCX files.. but I try to open them with IE or Windows paint they wont open.. any clues?

or do I have to try the old Print Screen to take screen shots?

Use Irfanview, it works great, I have connected it to pcx files, I open it, then save it as jpg

now when I view my screen shots they look 100x better in res!!

I play the game on a 19inch flat viewsonic TFT screen so it usually loooks crappy..

why cant I play TT like how I am viewing them in the Giant screen shots?

Restrictions, restrictions

An old game that wasn't designed for big monitors , I guess
It can't be changed

You can lower your screenresolution and play windowed or play fullscreen (like I do)

ahh yaa.. after messing with the pictures, cropping htem.. resizing.. they look like the normal crappy res.. oh well =)

I would like to get back to WINDOWED move.. but after I patched it to 2.0 or whatever it is.. it goes full screen all the time now.. any clue how to get the option to set it for windowed or full screen?

With a program called ttconfig, it's in your map/folder

Set it to windowed
But untick the compatibility settings (if you have used them) on ttdpatchw.exe

This is no longer necessary
