Trouble with cheat signs -- Problem solved

Hi Guys,

I have openttd 0.6.3.
I placed the sign cheat 'Cht: Money 10000' in the game to try out if sign cheats work for me, but nothing happened. No tick mark or X at the end.
I added "signcheats = true" to openttd.cfg.

What else am I missing?

I just tested it in a two years old version of M$ Word but to no avail either.
