About one minute before I can view it
it's a bit small right now, but if you could limit the image size to 640X480, then that'd be cool
Things to do:
1) Bend
2) Cheese It

1. I thought it was you who wanted to test the new thumbnail system in the first place, spiff? Although obviously what you originally thought may be different from what you think now.
2. I'm not a huge fan of the system either. But what I was saying to Combat was that during the next trial (images over a certain size are linked to not embedded) is that the limit wouldn't be 1024x768 or anything ridiculous, it would be 640x480.
3. Things may well go back to the way they originally were. Just be patient.

I like the idea, but not if it takes a minute to load, I don't know why it took so long, today they load immediatelyorudge wrote:1. But using the system for big pictures would be very good
Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future
To complete the quoting of the whole of Owen's post:
The only problem is that:
I think that would be by far the best idea. I've just installed the attachment mod on my test phpBB forum and, seeing the option, I think that it would work much better like that, particularly as the thumbnails are so small at the moment that they end up just like links anyway.orudge wrote:2. Do you know if this would have any effect with the way most people post images here?In the phpBB Special Categories Control Panel (for Images), the author wrote:With some Images this Feature will not work due to limitations in PHP.

I think it should be OK here. I'll probably switch that option on and thumbnails off later on, and leave it like that until I leave on Friday, when we can decide what to do.Oracle wrote:The only problem is that:Do you know if this would have any effect with the way most people post images here?In the phpBB Special Categories Control Panel (for Images), the author wrote:With some Images this Feature will not work due to limitations in PHP.
sultana: I'm not sure. I don't think so, very easily, but I'm not too sure right now.
