Converting Track Types

Talk about the sequel to the original TT, Transport Tycoon Deluxe.

Converting Track Types

I am new to this, and am totally addicted (even if the graphics are not ultra modern and making use of my nice gaming computer :)). I have OpenTTD on my computer, and my Nokia 810 internet tablet.

I was wondering, is there a way to convert regular railroad tracks to electric rail, monorail, or MagLev? Or will I have to manually delete and rebuild.
