Ireland Scenario
Dear TT-Forum Members;
I came accross a scenario the other day that was simply named 'Ireland'. I've researched
it against the maps of Ireland that I found on-line and found it to be quite good, aside from some
minor things, (names that I couldn't find and the 'relief could use a little help, etc.) So, for my
own personal use, I re-worked this scenario. It really came out great. Now, I've tried to find
the person who made this scenario and can't seem to find him or her. I think I've had this 'map'
on file for at least 5 years, so, maybe they aren't around? Anyway I want to share this scenario
with you all, (if I may,) but, would like to get permission first from it's
author. If anyone knows who this is, would you let me know?
Thank you ahead of time.
BTW, I called this revised version "The Luck of the Irish."
Always,
Jim Powers

Mr. Stunt_monkey;
"This would be a good map for BOAT Lovers 8/10"
You're right about that! Here's a screenie from my current game, showing some of my boats.

The Scenarios and Savegames forum is ------------------------------> that-a-way.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Re: Ireland Scenario
Looking good. Im from ireland and ive made several attempts in the past to make Dublin and its surrounding areas, its pretty difficult but id love to take another bash at it.
Its a pitty not to many people were interested in my request to make an irish set. I guess if with this map and any i make interest might increase.
After all, i know what our ancient rail is like here. Its all victorian, the only new transport is a couple of trams, and from a city that once had the largest tram network in europe, and we ripped it up, for shame!
Cant wait to play as Iarnród Éireann!

Re: Ireland Scenario
I officially did it!
Say hello to DART Version one!
I made a map of the dublin area fully complete with space for all the rail routes in and out.
Its not perfect and i havent played it yet, but it took me two days!.
The scale and some area placement is off, and the mountains arent that good, but its done.
Im so proud
Update(8/8/08): It took a lot longer than i thought to build the infrastructure and get it going.
I only got her going about an hour ago and ive made a few mistakes trying to use pbs too its full. Some station and junction miss-haps that are causing a lot of traffic jams, but i feel ill have it fixed for posting by tomorrow(09/8/08)
